NWDS holds a yearly awards day where we call for nomination of staff, volunteers and participants for a wide range of Yearly Awards.  The day is exciting and interactive with politicians and local dignitaries attending to present the awards. They culminate with the Spirit of NWDS which is an individual award to the Participant and the Staff person who identify and practically present as the enbodiement of what a really amazing NWDS person is.
